- Fluor (engineering & construction),
- Google (Internet searching services & portals),
- Hewlett-Packard (computers & office equipment),
- IBM (computers & office equipment),
- Microsoft (computer software),
- Raytheon (aerospace and defense), and
- U.S. National Aeronautics & Space Administration Space, or NASA (exploration and aeronautics research).

The North American MAKE study was established in 2002 to recognize organizations (founded and headquartered in North America) for their ability to create shareholder wealth (or in the case of public and non-profit organizations to increase stakeholder value and societal capital) by transforming new as well as existing enterprise knowledge into superior products/services/solutions.
